The Pantone Color of the Year 2015 Marsala Sweet Fifteen Quinceanera Theme

Marsala as the Pantone color of the year has received mixed reactions. Compared to previous years picks, like radiant orchid and tangerine tango, marsala seems rather dull. It's up to you to make it shine. For this theme I've combined it with gold and white. Based on the dress I found above that most closely matched Marsala, in my opinion.

It has a white filigree-esque design on the bodice so I thought it would be pretty to use that in the decor. It's easier to look for decorations in burgundy than marsala so when in doubt do that. Basically use different shades of it, make it all more interesting. Gold can be combined with taupe too. Taupe and marsala actually look really nice together also. Anyway as long as you go with a classic elegant look (think floral arrangements and candelabras), you can't go wrong.
